Mushrooms and Pea Pods

  • 2 Tbs coconut oil
  • ½ lb fresh shiitake, Portobello, or cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 lb snow or sugar snap peas, trimmed
  • 1 Tbs wheat free tamari, soy sauce, or coconut aminos if you can’t eat soy
  • 1 Tbs toasted sesame seeds


  1. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add coconut oil when pan is hot.
  2. Add mushrooms and sauté until golden brown, stirring frequently.
  3. Add snow peas and wheat free tamari (or coconut aminos) and continue to sauté until peas turn bright green.
  4. Top with toasted sesame seeds to serve.
